Barcode Label Format Settings Explained |
1. Font and Font Size Settings for Barcode Labels |
You can set the font and font size for the barcode label. Additionally, you can customize each line of text individually, adjusting the font, size, and alignment. To do this, click the 'Set Font' button, which will open an advanced font settings window. This will be explained in detail in another article. |
The available font options depend on the fonts installed on your Windows system, and this program allows you to choose from any of them. |

|
2. Width and Height Settings for Barcode Labels |
You can directly input the barcode label's width and height, with the units determined by the unit selector in the top-right corner. |
Alternatively, you can adjust the width and height visually by dragging the sliders at the bottom. |
The program can also automatically calculate the optimal barcode size to fit the label paper. Click the 'Calc Size' button to open a window that calculates the ideal barcode dimensions based on parameters like paper size, label width and height, and the number of labels per page. This will be discussed in more detail in another article. |

|
Automatic Barcode Width Adjustment Option |
The program offers an option called 'Auto Resize - High Readability.' When this option is selected, the barcode width will be automatically adjusted (height remains unchanged) to a size less than or equal to the width specified in the 'Width' text box. This ensures the barcode is resized to the most readable dimensions for barcode scanners. |
However, selecting this option may affect the overall layout and appearance of the barcode label. Please make this choice according to your needs. |

|
3. Rotation Settings |
The 'Rotation' dropdown offers four options for the barcode's print orientation: 0, 90, 180, and 270. These options let you print the barcode horizontally, vertically, or flipped in either direction. |

|
4. Text Alignment Settings |
The 'Text Alignment' dropdown allows you to choose the text alignment for the barcode label: left-aligned, right-aligned, or centered. |
Barcode labels can contain multiple lines of text, and you can adjust the alignment of each line individually by clicking the 'Set Font' button, which opens the advanced font settings window. |

|
5. Display Text Under Barcode |
The 'Show Text Under Barcode' option determines whether human-readable text will appear below the barcode. This text can be set with a different font and size than the barcode label's title. You can click the 'Set Font' button to access advanced font settings for this text. |
